3.2 Intermittent starting fault.
« on: 04 February 2013, 18:16:16 »

Happened a couple of times over the last few days, car starts fine as usual, then leave it parked up for a few minutes and then nothing, the car just turns over and it feels like that theres either no spark or no fuel. Then it's back to normal as if nothing ever was wrong and car runs fine.....until the next time  >:( As usual all opinions and advice will be  much apreciated :y

I always did until I loaned it to a newbie in distress and he nicked it. :(

3.0l takes the cheaper one. EPC is often wrong on V6 crank sensors.

O.K if it turns out to be the crankshaft sensor then I guess it's quicker to take it off BUT my local VX stealer wont have one as they always say 'dont get asked much for Omega parts now, so it's got to go on order' So if anyone can recommend a supplier then would apreciate a heads up :y

Buy brand new, genuine, from dealer, if it is a faulty crank sensor
