Where can I get Gaskets ??
« on: 28 February 2013, 15:20:02 »

Anyone else have a problem with gaskets for their Miggy ?? 'Once again' I need gaskets, a cylinder head gasket set to be precise. Two weeks ago the bloke repairing my Miggy ordered a head set from his local factors, nothing yet ? Elite Pete kindly put me on to another respected supplier last weekend. I phoned Monday morning and was told I would be phoned back. Waited until last evening then e-mailed, got a reply this morning : < Sorry about that we have tried several of our manufacturers and we have had no luck as yet.  It seems the head gaskets are not available to make up the sets, sorry.> Any help would be greatly appreciated...  :y

Just took the liberty and spoke to Daz, he's happy to sort it, and pick the car up. If you want. ;)

Hope you don't mind...?

Don't mind at all Chris, but have the problem of my mate already stripped the top end, and, 'hopefully', stripped the heads.... :-[ :-\

Ok, well, he really should fix it himself. Seeing as he broke it. But really, once bitten...etc.

Best of luck with it. :y Andyc will sort you some gaskets I'm sure. :)
