Can anyone help, just decided to valet the car in the nice weather but I can't unlock it. I locked the car with remote then took the battery off. Now the key will not unlock the car! Just broke the key off the key fob trying so now I need to buy a new key! Not pleased. How do I get in the car?

You should be able to unlock the car with the key in the drivers door lock, but it will be really stiff (as you have discovered)!  As you have already broken the key, I would suggest getting a set of mole grips on the metal part of the key for more leverage, and use gentle but firm force  :y

I have got in it now thanks, I assumed it might be impossible as the dead locks were active. SWMBO got the darn thing open while I was posting my distress post. Highly embarrassing. Just need to order a new key now. Gggrrrr

Car is now SOLD! (Not to forum member) Going to a new home to be kept on the road not broken which is good news!
