You'd find it far easier to use the looms and electronic components (ECU etc) from the Omega.

Be aware that not all pump and ECU combinations are compatible.

Ensure the 2.5TD that is destined for the Omega has been well looked after, lot of work if it turns out to be a lemon or poorly serviced. Which is very easily done on these  :y

The electronics are different in the top of the diesel Range Rover P38 fuel pump. I think you'd have to swap the top of the pump over and it is a bit tricky.

Rangie pumps have a code that ends 994. Not sure what the Omega ones are, probably 993 or 995. You can get a refurbed pump from Diesel Jones in Manchester for about £500 plus VAT.
