no wasn't there but you're right it was downhill - start was 13 feet higher than end according to Google Earth. Over 5 miles

32mpg is good going

, but I had no doubt you could do it on a decent steady run. I've managed 30mpg from Tenby to Oxford, including some loss of temper with other drivers on the A34, as normal.

I suspect, being auto, your MPG in Wales was due to frequently not being in TC lockup - that sort of driving hammers MPG.

Last time I Italian Tuned my 3.2 was around 14mpg, and thats a Manual, mind, it was running LPG.

I get 34 mpg on a gentle motorway run and less if I have to brake or accelerate.
