Tyre value?

A pair of almost new (about 500 miles)Dunlop Sportmaxx 255/35/ZR 20.

Between 7-8 MM of tread all over. Date stamp 3516.

Must be worth something.

Roughly about £170 each when fitted by the 'professionals' at Kwik Fit. :)

9mm normally

Half of nine is four and a half not six.......even if you can't use the last 2mm :P :P :P :P

New tyres have 8mm of tread and if you take away the legal minimum tread of 1.6mm that gives you a legal usable tread depth of 6.4mm which means a half worn tyre will technically have 4.8mm of tread.  ;)

These tyres have (using a digital gauge) approx 7.3-7.8MM. :y

They are clearly not very good at Maths in Brackley. ::)
