For an island like Malta this is a really dreadful and sickening event, especially as this journalist was covering stories about senior politicians ruling this country being corrupt.  It will be interesting to see how the investigation is carried out. :( :(

At least in the UK we don't blow up our journalists when they cover such corruption stories.   ;)

Not to say that some don't warrant it...

Probably read something like: The car exploded from an unknown/unidentifiable source, killing it's occupant. Death by misadventure.

There is some comment on the Island about the police being corrupt, and indeed a police sergeant has been suspended after stating he was glad she had been killed!!  :o :o :o

Unlike the Malta I thought I knew. :'( :'(

Where it has to do with corruption and money laundering exposed in the Panama Papers which Putin takes as a personal attack on his interests, I would normally put his wet work in the frame, but when they do murder people they are much more professional than this by using just enough explosive to kill the target but not hurt bystanders, which has happen twice so far this year in Kyiv with people standing on payments near the explosion having no injuries.

Where much more than necessary explosives were used in this attack where the car was blown off the road into the middle of an adjacent field I would put it down to local amateurs which may or may not involve the local police. :o :o :o

Exactly, and local reports seem to be thinking along those lines ;)
