My mates grandson is doing his PHD at Leicester Uni. The brief is to predict the next ice age. Food for thought?

Adaptation or Evolution, call it what you may, but I believe the Planet will adapt to changes and try and repair itself one or another, it will be around long after the Human Race is gone and some non human species will survive, assuming we dont Nuke it, do something really stupid to it or a big Meteorite hits again, if its the later, then it will eventually start all over again after Millions of years and some other species will get a chance to have a crack of the whip and probably be digging up history of the Human Race.  :)

Zirk, this planet has been doing what you suggest for millennia, carefully balancing the flora and fauna perfectly. Fauna exhale C)2 and need oxygen; flora absorb CO2 and transpire oxygen - a truly symbiotic relationship.  :y 8)
