Back to Corbyn flight of socialist fancy, that raises so many questions.

Do the homeless:
Pay rent (that the tax payer will meet)?
Pay council tax ( ditto)?
Will they get evicted when they use the house as a drugs den?
Will they get evicted when they use the house for mass and regular roudy drinking sessions?
Who pays for house repairs when they are evicted, or any vandalism that transpires?
Will they have to find employment within a certain time scale?
Who will own the houses?
Will all youngsters who have to live at their parents homes be given a house at 18 years of age?
Will anyone who is evicted from a council or private rented house, who become "homeless" be given a house?
Will the Labour Government (heaven help us!!) give local authorities a refund of all the costs to them of this scheme so the hard working population of a borough does not pay for it all?

I am sure you can all think of other questions, and flaws with this crackpot idea :o :o

This might be relevant if Corbyn ever had a chance of being voted in. I won’t hold my breath.

In normal times I would completely agree, but......Brexit, Trump, Corbyn actually being elected as leader and turning Labour into Europes biggest political party, all say we are sailing in uncharted waters where anything can happen.  :-\

If 8,000 votes will actually make a difference to Labour party support, then they're going to need a bigger gimmick  ;D

Brexit was a vote for common sense.
Trump was elected so that Hillary wasn't. Heck, my dog would have beaten her in the polls.
Labour, Europe's largest political party?  By what measure? Union membership? A survey of all five Guardian readers? A Beeb news story?

If Corbyn ever gets into power with a majority (he will have purged his party of all moderate MPs by then), so he can make all political parties illegal except Liebour, all businesses and property will be nationalized, with no compensation and him deciding who gets or runs what to what personal benefit, which will mean firstly himself and his Politburo, where the majority of the UK's wealth is in their hands, followed by trade unionists and loyal party members. Liebour voters will be treated with total contempt like everybody else where the expendable useful fools have done their job. >:( >:( >:(

This is all page one stuff in the Marxist Practical Guide to Consolidating Power and Creating a Full Revolutionary Dictatorship. It won't be TB conducting any culls but his revolutionary guards. Everybody will be expendable, except President Corbyn, which means all groups that are a threat to his dictatorship including business leaders, intellectuals, any former Tory or UKIP party members etc., etc. >:( >:( >:(

Don't be under any illusions on what full on Marxism means as there are plenty of regimes throughout the world that have done exactly this over the last 100 years. :( :( :(

I believe that Corbyn and McDonnell are the biggest threat that this country currently faces, but I think you might be getting a little carried away there Rods!   ::)  :P  ;D

Older folk underestimste the power of social media. 8000 houses isnt 8000 votes but many many more after simple targetted message retweeets, likes and so on.

I am constantly amazed at the stuff posted on my nephews facebook.

Of course with votes for 16year olds adding to the mix, Labour are just waiting for the Tories to stumble.

Brexit was a vote for common sense. Absolutely.  :y
Trump was elected so that Hillary wasn't. Heck, my dog would have beaten her in the polls.  Wouldn't disagree with that.

Sheer number of members.  Iirc, over 600,000 at the last count.;)

Tempted to agree with a more benevolent view, but I really think that Rods could be correct. Just remember that the real power behind Corbyn and the Labour party is Momentum. Hard left, communist, and prepared to trample opposition, regardless of democracy.

It could be prevented if instead of all this moronic talk of allowing 16 year olds the vote !! we had a law whereby no-one could vote until they had contributed at least 5 years of income tax into the system.
If theres no taxation without representation, then there should also be no representation without taxation.  :)

What a stunningly good idea, Albs! No way are 16 year olds mature enough to make important political judgements/decisions - they need to "get their knees brown" first and have some experience of life, employment and responsibility first, and none of that can occur until at least age twenty one.
Maybe we ought to review female suffrage, too?  ???

Ron.

P.S. Hide me from Lizzie, in case she reads that.
