£41k for a Kia ??? !!!! that will be rarer than a Bugatti Royale in 10 years time. They will sell 7 of them. Two will be written off and four will fall apart or rust away.  :D

Similar to the amount you've spent on your Omega in the last couple of years. :D

Not quite, although I will admit to approx. £1600, not including purchase price. Which reminds me, I was thinking today that I  might just stick a new pair of Bilsteins on the front soon. And then will have to fork out for four wheel alignment - again.  ::) :D

Is Skoda 4 wheel drive? Normally FWD platform.

Yeah, I *think* its only on the 280ps 2.0 petrol and the 190ps 2.0 diesel. Personally I found it extremely refined and very comfortable when I was in it, although being only a passenger and it being a 150ps diesel, I can't comment on driving dynamics.

The L&K 280ps cost over £36k new, seen a couple of 2016 examples at just over £20k  :o

BMW M Sport is way, way too firm for me. Car share buddy’s 235iM finds bumps on a normally silky smooth road.

Yes, it is hard, I think its compounded by the total lack of give in the seats. Given the mileage I do now, I would have had to trade the M140i if I still had it. If only for the good of my spine!

Yes, it’ll be a race between that and the Skoda superb 280PS to see which is the biggest depreciation disaster  ;D

Stinger stands out as it’s RWD, hopefully they have tuned it to British roads and softer ride.

Same with a friend's spine jarring Audi, great for the first 2 miles until the novelty wore off and then a pain. :(

The salesman said he can arrange a test drive if I'd like.

Not cheap at £41000  but comes with almost everything as standard. I was quite impressed. :)

Kia Stinger ??

Henry.......once again you have proved yourself smarter than the average OOFer. Spot on. :y

A surprisingly impressive car and for those who don't care about badge snobbery one worthy of consideration.

I would, but only after its taken the hit money wise :y

I wonder what a 12 month old example would fetch?

Kia say residuals will be better than it's German rivals......but they would say that, wouldn't they.

Look at the lease rates for an indication of the residuals...

The cheaper the rates the better the residuals are... traditional company cars being the notable exception as fleets can buy them for significantly less than retail.

One to watch closely on depreciation  :)

Yep.....the list of standard equipment is a million miles from what Audi or BMW offer. To spec 'Ze Germans' to the same level you'd probably need another £10000.

Service interval seems to be left over from the seventies though.........every 6 months or 6000 miles. :-\

Nothing wrong with that M`lud, I`m not a fan of these extended service intervals, you can`t beat regular oil changes  :y

But the big V6 one, I bet they only sell a handful.  :(

The Hyundai/Genesis G80 should give a clear idea of residuals... £51k new, three years old and it's down to £18k :o and it's not a hatchback ::)
