A/C valves.
« on: 18 April 2018, 20:31:21 »

Fitted a new condenser and had it regassed just over a year ago, but it has lost all its coldness now. I bought a ultra violet torch which showed some leakage around the valves. Cant say for sure if it has leaked anywhere else, as its not easy to see.
Plan is to renew both valves and have it regassed again, and hope that does the trick. If there are other leaks it should show up before the gas goes in.
I believe the low pressure valve is a standard car tyre type valve ?  Dont know the part number for the high pressure valve.
Anyone have this info, and an idea of price please ?
Tia.  :)

Pipe pliers are a bodge ..... despite what some say, the valve itself is 15mm across the flats
