sick of these updates that are happening every day almost & take literally hours. windows 10 , MacAfee security. the irony of it is when it finishes I get a message telling me it was unable to finish downloading the updates & the goes on to remove what has taken hours to download.  >:( >:(

Set your AV to manually download, something like Inform when Updates are ready to download or just manually check every day, once a week etc, bear in mind your only protected based on your last update.

As for Win10, yea a real pain, again I select inform me when ready but let me decide when to download option, or words to that effect, personally I rarely do that anyway, I normally wait for a major update, then set some time aside, that I know I not going to be Computer busy and download Windows Updater from the MS Download Center and do it that way.

Having said all that my PC's and Lappy's  are pretty much squeaky clean, so I do push my luck with updates but never had any issues yet.

One more Tip, download run a Full Malwarebytes (Free) Scan at least once a month.

Ignoring AV, Microsoft products only get updated monthly  :-\

Defo not every day.
