I am glad I don't have to vote in Uk elections.

I think all three parties are sadly lacking.

This lack of history is what helps get so many young supporters for the EU for example.
There are three parties?

I was just going to say..

But yes, apparently the Monster Raving Looney party is still a thing, and head quartered about a mile from where I'm sitting now. ;)

Ah yes.....Screaming Lord Sutch. They don't make them like him any more.

Most of Corbyns supporters are young people. The 1970,s to them really is ancient history. The left wing education system has programmed them to believe if it isn't left wing its evil. Its also why they dont have a problem voting for a lifelong supporter of the IRA.
Its all ancient history to them, and Corbyn and his kind have had time to make up a pack of lies to cover their backs in the interim.
One delegate yesterday proclaimed that the education system needs to be improved, because " if we educated children properly, there wouldnt be any Tories".
Its pretty scary stuff for those of us who have lived life and seen it before.

I dont believe even moronicMay and her team are mad enough to call an election at the moment. Unless events overtake them and leave little choice in the matter.

Oh yes, that is really scary.  Like Hitler created a cultural education of the German people to believe the Nazis were the answer to all evils and would advance the nation to a "Greater Germany"!! :o :o >:(

This is all worrying me now, with every news bulletin Labour are spouting out more and more socialist crap and is trying to re-write history and what is to happen next. >:(

Unfortunately it would need an act of god[or a higher power]to get anyone other than a labour candidate elected round here.Never been a Tory fan but I'd sooner vote for the Downing Street cat than have Corbyn as PM.

I've voted for everyone over the years, no big tribal bias. I'm not a big fan of TM, but f there was a General Election tomorrow I would be voting for whoever is most likely to keep Corbyn out of No 10, and almost as importantly McDonnell out of No 11, I'll not waste breath on who would be Home Secretary.

If labour were to get in everything would be rosy.Dianne Abbot has done the costings so if you move the decimal point about a bit and get rid of a few of those unsightly zeroes it works out they could do everything for everybody for about £1.50p :D

It was in the 1970's and 2008.............oh, hang on, they near bankrupted industry, the country, and lost tens of thousands of jobs by first letting the unions run the country and then spending all the money!! ::) ::)

Never underestimate her political stupidity. As a vicar's daughter he is a fully paid up of the 'nice but very stupid' Tory club. I'm not sure who would win in a politica instincts v maths contest between May and Abbot. :o :o :o May has a proven track record of failure and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory with 23% GE poll advantage losing seats and Davis/Banier Canada+++ being replaced by the May/Robbins Chequers fiasco being two examples of the latter. :( :( :(

Reports have it that the Maybot was telling journalists on the flight to New York that in the event of No Deal, the UK will drastically lower taxes and will deregulate the economy to make it super competitive!  Words intended for her audience in Brussels no doubt.  ::)

I briefly wondered whether Chequers has been a clever ruse to get to No Deal all along, knowing full well that the EU would never accept it and neither will Parliament.  She can then blame EU intransigence and a stupid Labour party, for the failure to reach a deal.  :-\  After all Chequers is the only plan on the table at the moment. Right?  ???

I don't think they are that politically astute in Downing Street though.....  :-X  ;D
