The box that's now in orbit or the box for the new one?

Box for the new one. The old garage door opener was fitted long before millennials took over H&S.

Tunnie- I just had  electric rollerdor fitted. You are welcome to come around to take a look. I went for the uprated version with the auto close and sensor and better insulation.  Was ideal to maximise storage.

Guy who lives opposite my lad has a side fitting roller garage door. He needed to maximise the height to get his Land Rover in to his garage. The garage door fits so tight to the garage wall that he has full height, full length racking stood in front of it.

This is an example of how tight it fits to to wall (unfortunately shown on a double door but you get the idea ).
It depends on how much garage you have left I suppose, as it slides rather than rolls up.

And this is an example of the outside

Has been fine until last couple of days when emissions light came on and went off. Suspect a failing
sensor.

 :-[ Sorry.

That reminds me of something that happened a while back. Somebody on this forum posted a link during a bit of banter on one of the threads. I clicked the link and it showed an eBay advert for an inflatable sex doll. For the next few days I received emails from eBay asking if I was still interested in the product that I'd recently viewed, which showed the doll.  :-[
Err no, I was never interested in it to start with. I had to be careful opening emails at work because of this.  :-[  Be quite embarrassing trying to explain that one.  :-[ ;D
Big brother is watching us.

I'd quite like to replace my up and over garage door which is almost certainly the original from when the house was built in the early 1960's and the rollers are getting very worn and jump out of the tracks now and again.  :-\

The problem is that the garage ceiling is asbestos, which will have to go, and I'll have to dig very deeply for that....  :-\  :(  ::)
