Well that went together pretty quick
« on: 17 July 2009, 21:11:53 »

My intention was to just finish the head rebuild tonight - and start putting the car back together over the weekend.

I couldn't stop at that though, so far this evening I've done:

* Head fitted, bolted on, torqued
* Camshafts and followers (all 16 :D ) fitted
* Cam pulleys fitted
* Timing belt kit
* Inlet manifold
* Exhaust manifold
* Loom routed into the right places
* General crap reconnected, such as fuel lines, clips, hoses etc
* Spark plugs

To do -

* Fit camcover
* Fit coil pack
* last few electrical connectors
* Throttle body
* LPG hose and vacc connections
* Alternator and aux belt

Should be fired in in a couple of hours of work, tomorrow

Time for a beer  :y

Roughly -

Exhaust downpipe (four nuts)
Throttle body, inlet manifold, camcover
camshafts, followers, sprockets
cambelt kit and aux belt

It sounds a lot but in reality, it is an easy job on the 4 pot  :y
