Irmscher door sill covers
« on: 04 August 2009, 16:03:27 »

I've never been interested in items from Irmscher or aftermarket items before, but I saw these in an online Irmscher brochure for the Omega. I thought they looked quite good. Does anyone have them fitted to their Omega? I've looked on ebay and german ebay and all over the internet, but can't seem to find any. Anyone know where I could get them? And anyone have pictures of them fitted to their car?
This is what they look lke...image taken from brochure.

Does anyone think they look a bit chavvy? I'm not sure, being in a light silver, and my Omega is in Nocturno Blue (dark) they might stand out too much?

That's exactly the kind of thing, thanks Ghost Driver :) I appreciate you having a look on my behalf.

I think I'm looking for the Irmscher one's because they say Omega on them. I think that's the thing that drew me to them in the first place, the fact they said Omega, and look almost factory fitted. I've seen many cars with similiar sill plates. My mother used to have a 'S' plated Ford Focus ghia and that had factory fitted as standard chrome/silver sill plates with ghia embossed into them. Looked quite smart

Thanks gstylebaby for taking the photo's. I appreciate your effort :)
I like your one's aswell, but I think I prefer the Irmscher one's a bit more. However, as you said they're expensive I think I might shelf the idea for the moment. Prefer the Irmshcer one's because the 'Omega' inscription matches those on the floor mats which I still need to buy  :y
Thanks again gstylebaby.

No probs mate :y. I would have loved the other's as well but the price tag of around £200 (i think it is/was) put me off so i got these made.....Let me know if you ever find any and they have a more than one set at a good price. ;)

Sure will do mate :) I've only started looking in the past 3 or 4 days, so I've got every hope I'll find some. I'll be sure to let you know if I do  :y
