Tailgate on elite estate.
« on: 22 August 2009, 21:29:16 »

Anyone know if the tailgate on an estate is double skinned? Had an argument with a tree this afternoon reversing into a parking space :-[ and dented tailgate and shattered rear screen. :(  Tree trunk had grown through fence about 3 foot above ground. Got new rear screen being fitted tuesday by autoglass but i want to remove tailgate trim to see if i can repair the dent/crease if possible as its quite bad.

I was hoping to avoid getting A N Other tailgate as i am paying out £75 excess on my insurance glass cover to get another tailgate glass fitted on Tuesday morning. :( I will remove trim and check it out. Just hoping crease won`t stop them being able to fit new glass. :-/

I reckon £75 would buy you another tail gate complete with glass.  :y
