There was a Lambo on the works car park last Tues ...... I took a photo but don't seem to be able to get it to the PC to upload it any where to show you. Someone must be getting paid toooo much!  ;D  ;D  ;D

I saw an old Renault 5 Gordini Turbo the other day, don't even remember seeing one of them when they were current!

You had to be quick with those, to see them between being sold and blowing up / getting stacked. ;D

You had to be quick with those, to see them between being sold and blowing up / getting stacked. ;D

Not in my opinion,nice little motor but the brakes were crap.The only reason that the stats put them quicker than the chevette HS was that they had the sense to put decent carbs and exhaust manifold on as standard.VX as we would expect put strombergs and a cast iron manifold on the HS and charged the owners a fortune for a pair of dellorto,s and a tubular steel manifold,but we all paid it of course.It just meant that the car was about 10% more expensive than list price.
For the record,in the days when you could get away with racing other cars on the road,from standing start to flat out,my HS used to eat Lotus Sunbeams alive. ;) :)
