diesel injector cleaning
« on: 24 January 2010, 15:44:34 »

I decided to remove the injectors from my tractor and clean them I also have 4 spares.
the engine ran like a bag of sh**e tryed diesel magic no change.
so I spent 4 hours today spliting the injectors and washed them in diesel when i say split i mean took injector to bits its very easy to do number 1,2and 6 were totaly cloged with black crap and it smelt of diesel magic there was far to much crap for the diesel magic to clean it runs so smooth now.
took it for a good blast up the motorway and done a paper clip test code 64 gone  :) :) :y

.yes done that and put some in fuel tank there was so much crap in the injector body there's no way diesel magic would of shifted it.
inside was black like old engine oil and smelt of d-magic the rest were clean-ish :y
I'll take some photos and try and figure out how to post in the how to section.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is "Diesel Magic". Wynns Injector cleaner perchance?
