Jaguar CRC  (customer relationship centre) are worse than f*cking useless. They are a one trick pony who always say the same regardless of the problem. "We are unable to help, we suggest you contact your dealer"

They are there to back the dealers up and are not for the benefit of the customer. They are, in effect, the dealers poodle.

They have no power to compel the dealers to put things right.
The dealers are independent franchises. Hence Jaguar Cars Ltd have no power to do much when a dealer inevitably oppss up.

Washed both cars by hooking up my pressure washer to the water butt and cleaned a bit of the path as well before the water ran out!  :y

But the sills don’t come off, so water would still sit there? That area is hidden, think road much and salt does damage. Even regularly cleaned examples have rusted...

Getting as much water as possible in that area washes off the salt, and its that that does the damage (which is why when you go to the Med, you see loads of old cars like Mk1 Fiestas and Sierras in excellent condition.

The dealers receive bonuses based on the feedback scores from Jag (and pretty much all the other marques), such a low score from me is considered a full on failure and requires specific investigation.

Turned it off half way through a regen. Again. ;D

Really should book it in for the intermediate service, as the on board computer keeps moaning at me that it's due in 27 days.. 26 days.. 25 days..

I sounds as though Jag dealers have not improved since I had an XJ6,(a lovely car) back in the '80's. I swore then I wouldn't buy a car from them again. :(

The only Jag that appeals to me at all is an E type always loved that shape .

Its a good job we are all different :y

I ended up with a Jag as I couldn't find *anything* else that met my well published, fairly open requirements.  There is actually very little choice out there.

Trouble is, the dealers are every bit as shit as BMW, Merc and Audi in my personal experience. Never used a Lexus dealer, so can't comment.
