cam cover oil leak
« on: 08 February 2011, 16:20:06 »

My V6 has developed a small oil leak at the back of the driver's side cam cover, above the exhaust manifold. I could probably live with it. Two questions - will it inevitably get worse, and if I clean out the breathers again (I did it 8 months ago) and if that was the cause of the leak, would the leak then lessen, or maybe even cease? (wishfull thinking) Any ideas?

Yes. No.  :y

(although you should clean breathers to prevent replacement gasket leaking)
