intermitant rev counter and fuel gauge

my tacho and fuel gauge suddenly die on me will driving and then come back again, this happens a few times on a 20 mile trip, could anyone help, ps  i have a 1994 omega v6  3.0ltr elite thanks.

Two things to try.....check fuse 12.......and also pop the instrument panel out (pretty easy and info available in the maintenance guides) and check the connector, make sure all the pins/contacts are nice and clean.

With instrument panel out, do not turn on ignition - it seems sometimes this causes the airbag light to come on...

I know about this error but do you know if its safe to have the dash placed in without the MID would you have problems if MID was removed.

Currently looking for a good replacement and tempted to remove it for the time being.

Mid being just an information display can simply be removed.

Yup, alas I have to charge a small fee to recoup some Tech2 costs.  A price list will be going up on this site soon...
