where is the best place to get a diy lpg kit?. are they hard to fit and how much do they cost.

I would say Jeremy at U-Fit-LPG, but - some members have had recent delays due to his increased demand...

Just to add, cost for a complete system including tank is in the £600-700 region for a V6 and maybe £500-600 for a 4 pot.

Fitting is quite an involved job, and requires that you have some experience, I'd say. It's not an ideal first car job to tackle but equally there's nothing that difficult, really.

Would have recommended Jeremy too. The kit has been excellent on my car and many before it. Unfortunately members are now having problems with delayed parts and difficulty in contacting him. :-/

Exactly as these guys have said... The only problem is he seems to have gotten too busy too quickly! I'm still waiting for my tank which was ordered 6 weeks ago!  >:( >:( >:(

That said, he's very helpful and seems to be easier to get hold of now... Just don't plan time off to do the work until you have the whole kit in your hands!
