2001 facelift MV6 2.6 auto

Hi all

Well, I have finally decided to take the plunge and try to sell our much loved MV6 2.6 auto.

First registered on 1st March 2001, with full service history and 7 stamps in the book, plus last full service done by Mark DTM at 91982 miles on 2nd April 2009

Standard MV6 spec so if not sure what that means please ask.......!!!

Cruise control fitted and activated by Mark

She is in Jade Green Mica, a lovely shade of light metallic green with a hint of gold in the summer sun......

3 previous owners, currently showing 102120 miles, but in daily use so may go up a little during the period she is offered for sale....

MOT expires 13th April 2010, although if she goes at the right price I will MOT it for another year, flew through with no advisories last year thanks to Mark DTM

Taxed til end of February 2010.

Cambelt, auxillary belt, waterpump and tensioners done by Mark DTM at 87405 miles

Minus points

1. Air con doesn't work, may need regas, may need investigation work.

2. Small puff of smoke at cold start. Mark DTM informed me that she was made during the cheap valve stem seals period so more than likely that. A known problem and nothing to worry about I believe. Uses about 1 litre of oil every 1000-1200 miles.

Starts, stops, turns as it should.

Gearbox up to date with software thanks to Mark and changes up and down as it should.

Engine very strong and pulls well.

Ran faultlessly during our family run to Normandy, 4 up and fully loaded.

Been totally reliable in the 16 months we have owned her.

Overall condition is very nice, smart and attractive. By no means mint but very very presentable and smart looking car.

Comes with Nokia 6310i and fixed in car Nokia kit.

Swap the front grille for a Vauxhall one with ya! :D

I can't say I've seen many in that colour - looks good. :y

The sticker on the wing - they manufacture watches and electronic timing devices for motorsport etc. :y

No worries, self adhesive so easily removed !!!!

Same for the Nurburgring and Cymru ones on the bootlid

How much you looking for mate? Ypu keep mats stickers number plates etc, also if you have all the Vx badges you keep the Opel badges and all that too. Could have a buyer that would be interested  :y

They want to pay a pittence to be honest mate, they did tell me they had more to spend but it's changed, wouldn't even be worth asking to be honest >:(. Sorry to let you down.

£75 or £50 trade/oof but you get a full check over and knowledgeable person, use propper equip, unlike "machines" at slick fit! includes local travel up to 15 miles

Car has new MOT on it,done last Friday, and was serviced last month by Mark DTM,

New cat back exhaust system fitted with 2 yr guarantee

Taxed til end of August 2010

2 front  tyres and will be fully valeted before sale

Looking for £1750, but genuine offers considered

Car is now provisionally SOLD

A very pleasant gentleman is coming over from Ireland next weekend to pick her up.

Gives me at least plenty of time to say goodbye........

Sad sad day, shes been a great car and I hope I wont be Omega-less for long.
