Tyres ?
« on: 29 October 2014, 06:16:56 »

Right, here is a question,
What tyres are you guys running on the omegas.
On mine there are 225/50 on the front and 226/60 on the rear.
Hmm, well I guess so at the moment. (Sorry is too dark to out at the moment )
But the fronts are different to the rear.
Why is that?
Is this standart or did the owner before me just fancy different sizes?
Surely they can be the same size front and rear?

Assuming standard wheels; because the person who fitted them is totally retarded :-X

Facelift...
225/55/16 GLS/CD/CDX/Plod
235/45/17 Sport/MV6/Elite
205/65/15 All spares unless matched alloy

You could always spend 5 mins looking at the manual thats available to download in the maintenance section, which list tyre sizes and lots more  ;D

Right.
Thought it would have some to do with the Towbar, towing etc or load?
Maybe the last owner just had a good deal then on left overs I guess.
Looks like the front can't fit any other but the rear can cope with  ..../60s

I do have on the v70 205 on front and 225 on rear but both 55 . That's choice.
Wasn't sure about the omega.
When I went to change the fronts they said is normal.
Surely not. Lol
