When I was working at the Jag factory recently some of the top bosses had the XFR's and would give them some welly around the site, spine tingling noise !!

Very nice indeed. However, £21000 seems way too expensive for a 2006 Jag.
My 2006 CLS 500 Merc cost almost £70000 when new yet fetched just £6350 when I sold it......FMBSH the lot. :'( :'( :'(

That's reassuring  :y

My 28k mile Omega must be worth at least £7k then 8) ::)

As said though, if you can afford it and there's room on the drive, then why not :y

Just don't forget to HPI it and carry out a DVLA/MoT check... :-X

Even so, Mr dbug.   £21000 is a lot of dosh  :y

Although not directly comparable, it might be worth putting the registration number and specification into WBAC and see what they come up with should you fall on hard times.  :y

I did this with the Merc and  they were about £600 short of what I actually achieved.

It is a beauty though. :y

Just a thought, Mr dbug, but £21000 would secure you just about the best TR6 available. :y

An appreciating asset to boot. :y

Tempted? ::) ::)

No already ran a TR6 for a couple of years - this was my '69 PI which I had in the very early 70s

And while I love TRs - it ain't the same as a Jag (loved my old E-type more than my 6)

Yes..... But the sophisticated suspension system on the TR6 would give a much smoother ride. :o :o :o :o ;D

For the record Autocar magazine recorded zero to sixty in 8.2 seconds.........The TR6 was pretty quick for 1969. :y

Yep - clocked mine 0 - 60 @ 7.8 secs. Now the E-type around 6.5 secs ;)
