Ok peeps due to conflicting weekends I will change things around slightly. This weekend for the meet weekend is now going to be the weekend of the 22nd August. Hope this is ok for everyone. Please add your name to the list below. Please take note of the original post for this meet.

Not compulsery We could live with the battery for a couple of days. If you wanted to borrow electric hook up I do have one ifyou need? but its not compulsery for electric, but definately must have a toilet and shower block though................

OK Peeps,

How does Hollands Wood campsite sound?

Check it out at http://www.forestholidays.co.uk/camping__caravanning/england/new_forest/hollands_wood.aspx

No electric but nice toilet and shower blocks. Also has a field next door, in the forest so the animals are walking in with the tents and a nice stream nearby if you fancy a splash about.

VX1 and I are looking to leave Reading at about 2pm on Friday 22nd August and travel to Basingstoke, pick up the M3 and then M27 to Lyndhurst. If anyone is on the way, you could join us as we pass.

Thanks
Mike

But we will be there for the nights of at least 22nd and 23rd.....won't we.

Marti, reckon we should meet at the services on the M27, immediately after the M3, of which the name escapes me. Will you be able to meet us there at about 4.30pm?
Paul, can we move the leave time until about 3.30pm as my wife has to work until 3pm?

Thanks
Mike

Shouldn't be to much of a problem. I will more than likely leave a bit earlier than that as I only do about 60 mph, but I can meet you at the services the first one on the M27?
I just realised Mike that its not the bank holiday weekend, thats the following weekend.

Paul,

Check your calendar. Monday 25th August IS Bank Holiday Monday.

I don't mind following you at 60, the speed limit is only 70 :)

So I would be looking to do Fri, Sat and Sun night :)

Sorry mate you are right that is the bank holiday weekend. Looks like I am going to be the only family member going from my lot as the swmbo is working that weekend  :(
So if there is anyone that wants to come then there is a spair bed for the weekend going.
