codes 64 & 96 . did the diesel magic trick (twice) and cleaned egr  no eml anymore in low gear even when having to drive slow -so fingers crossed re 64.  re 96 i wouldnt have a clue  but seems to be performing better.  :)

eml appears briefly, codes 64 & 96. symptoms loss of power similar to a fuel blockage. done the dm trick, but had knocked the filter rubber so fuel p****ed out. (don,t know how it started,never mind ticked over) so may try again. the problem has been with this tractor for a long time now, but it,s ok at high or normal speeds, & starts in any conditions.   :) :) :)

will a diagnostic test  show whats at fault, i think its between No4 injectors sensor or the pump. if a test only gives me a code its no good as i,m aware of these. is their a way of testing them.  :-/ :-/

pc test shows 44, 64 & 96 codes . eml flickers usually on de-accelleration occassional loss of power also occurs. otherwise tractor starts ok in any conditions, runs good. dmagic done. Omegatoy mentioned the piezo lead in a thread posted by cockyt 1. many thanks for any info on that subject.  :) :) :)

if you haven,t already checked the leak off pipes ,do so . had the same problem for weeks - pipes seemed ok but one pipe when i squeezed it my fingers were ever so slightly damp. renewed it & now starts first time   :)

altho the fuel filter has only been on 3 weeks or so i needed to put it in a vice to remove it. is removing the complete unit the best way to as thats what i did.    :) :) :)

wot,s those clip type things called that the 8mm tek screws ,screw into - to hold those covers underneath our migs on. the name and a part No would be great . mention s reg to our local stealers & theyr,e not interested.  thanks in advance  :) :)

omegatoy , it was a guy like you that probably invented the wheel. seriously i was in awe at the guys stuck in mddle of a footie pitch (york) doing tasks with ease that a vx dealer would charge the earth. it amazed me how clean they kept themselves too. yes it was good to watch.  :y :y :y :y
