Connecting an ipod
« on: 07 October 2007, 20:31:18 »

Hi all,

Just wondering if it is possible to connect an ipod to a CCRT700 stereo? I strongly dislike cassette type adaptors and I've never really been able to get a good result with the type of adaptor you plug into your ipod and tune into a vacant radio station.

Are there any vacant 3.5mm or co-axial connectors on the back?

Hope someone can help.

You can get a hard wired Fm Modulator which are much better than the poke in your fag lighter ones.

you can fit the harman kardon drive & play - this uses a wired FM modulator so doesn't transmit outside of the car - but you will still get a bit of hiss on quiet parts of music ... it also comes with a remote display and controller so you can lock the ipod away in the glovebox and it will charge it too  :)

now i want a tape player back in my car to use my mp3 player, but i sold the cassette adapter to my brother and i doubt he'll let me have it back!
