Very nice!  8)

Also those are quite impressive performance figures, Hopefully it proves to be a reliable car long term.

What are your plans on self maintaining the car or will most things be done by a garage? Such as brakes, oil etc...

Balance Motorsport.

Eibach Springs get my thumbs up, MV6 LSC and Irmscher only available second hand.

These Eibach springs?

The only downside with these would be the 30mm lowering of the car, As it's already catching on the drive a little with the standard ride height.

Are there any stiffer springs that don't lower the car?
Plod springs...  Work with self levelling... Killen also do HD standard height springs... Linked to recently in this section :y

Self levelling suspension has long gone, The previous owner replaced with standard rear KYB shocks if I recall, I did however put Sachs rear shocks/springs on the rear a few years ago seen as the KYB were leaking/failed MOT. Front seem to be on the original Sachs.

Here's an interesting little video. Mine is about the same on the front, You can easily bounce the front with one hand without much pressure.

...Cornering is interesting to say the least and as Nick mentions 'hammering into bumps'... It's okay in a straight line on a smooth surface... But how often do you come across such a road.

If you have standard suspension, what is catching?  That may imply you have another issue?

It's mainly due to the shape of the drive it's not a smooth gradual inclined driveway, There's a point where the center of longer cars such as the Omega say compared to a Corsa/Astra can occasionally just catch a little, On the Omega it's the exhaust mainly due to it being one of those 2 into one systems that doesn't fit like the original system... Anyway, Lowering the car isn't an option tbh.... It doesn't always catch as it is now but it's definitely going to be an issue if lowered 30mm.

...Bilstein B4 (front) shocks? Also what springs should I go for?

I did consider looking into B6 but they'd probably be overkill, Plus paying a fair few more £££ compared to the B4, Yet no doubt the cornering ability would be much more responsive with the B6! But then again a new set of B4 should be more than good enough especially with the condition of the roads, Even the B4 should feel pretty solid compared to the worn out units they'll be replacing that are like a bouncy castle.

The current shocks from what I can tell (barely) the label/s have worn are seem to say Sachs/GM possibly the original and at over 200k...

General Car Chat / 500bhp V6 Insignia Grand Sport

Can imagine this would have quite a hefty price tag, Definitely won't be cheap and that's if it will even be made or sold in the U.K.

Late night eBay searching...  ::)

Insignia 2.8T V6 Elite on a '58' plate with 66k currently £1,570 with 1 day 14 hours to go.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/292085715752

Lot of car for the money, That's if it doesn't make silly money. Just a shame there aren't that many 2.8T Elites about.

Also.... Spotted this rather nice 1993 Senator B 3.0 24v which seems to have gathered a lot of interest already even though it's got over a week left!

It does seem on face value a decent example with potential.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201891676517

Personally, Out of these two I'd much prefer the Senator.

Anyway, Both should be interesting to watch and see what they go for.  :y

Works out £25.56 for x2 5L of 10W40 on ECP with the code FREEOIL3

It's ever so slightly cheaper to purchase from CP4L as it works out £25.09 for x2 5L of 10W40 with the code EASTER17

Big price tag though...
