Put new spark plugs in 1-3-5 bank, which appears to have solved cold start misfire issue. As codes reported that bank being at fault. (Pot 5)

Still unsure at coolant loss, did 25 miles to work and all good. Although another 25 miles at home
it had dropped a tad.
What about the other 3 ???

Not really thought about it yet , possibly SL500 or C63AMG
but may just get rid of the Hyundai as well and get another Hemi Jeep.

Should tick most boxes as a starter suggestion... Throw in another £10k and you can get 7 years old with sub 40k miles...

Don’t know much about them Merc 4x4s but those both appear to have the same M273 engine as in my CLS500 if so they do perform well, Just watch out on the early ones anything after 2008 should be fine  :y

There's plenty of detailed info about affected engine numbers.  :y

Now we all know that Mr Tilbo is fabulously wealthy (he lives just down the road from Lord Opti afterall!)  :), but those are quite a jump from an elderly Hyundai Terriblecan.  :-\

Yesterday, went over to Mr Gixer's, forced down a cooked breakkie that Mrs Gixer made, and changed the front discs/pads on TBE.  Also (hopefully) fixed an annoying exhaust problem.

Today, need to take for a bit of a spin, just to bed them in before she uses it again. I should have done that last night, but it was curry time, so today I've sent her out in the Battlebus.

On the drive home from work this morning my recently acquired C**o claimed I averaged 63.7mpg. I strongly suspect the little froggy bastid is telling me porkies. I shall brim the tank soon and find out.  ::)
