I have a working one here if you still need one  :y

Thanks Gav'.

Omegod got in first so I'll take him up on his offer.

I'm sure you won't have too much trouble selling it! LOL

Thanks again.

I'll have a squizz at my CDX breaker tonight

I look forward to hearing from you! :)

Did you catch it with the jack? That's what killed mine ::)

The good news is that a saloon one is the same, which makes sourcing one easier.

No, I bought the car with the fault and had the fault codes read.

It was seized solid and the casing's broken. I tried to free it off but it's still really stiff and I can't see any way of repairing the casing even if the electronics are OK. Best bet is to buy another working one if I can.

I'm in the market for a rear xenon leveling sensor if it's got a good one on it. :)

Just thought I'd ask in case anyone has one lying around or is about to break a car with a working one.

I look forward to the ridicule! LOL

I bought myself a new bike at new year and have been watching what I've been eating too and have lost pretty much 3 stone this year.

Feeling an awful lot better about myself too.

Keep it up.

Wrong Andy I'm afraid  ;) ;) Last cycling I did was when I was about 16  ;)

No worries. Just re-familiarising myself .:)

This is a carbon copy of the Scottish independence thing.

I hear the same 'soundbites', words and arguments going around and around.

It's like Groundhog day for us north of the border.

Hey Andy,

Am I right in saying you used to do a bit of cycling?

Can't seem to be able to edit my posts, but...

...They seem to be very capable cars. I wouldn't mind one in the slightest.

Unfortunately I don't think SWMBO will go for one. :-/

Don't take this the wrong way...

...And much as I have a new found appreciation for Merc's.

It ain't pretty! LOL

Cars later than mine are 7 seaters 2x3x2 Mine is a R320 ie 3.0 diseasal, it has Airmatic suspension and tows my caravan effortlessly. It's a great car. You have to decide what you want in the way of toys as they are almost all different from each other re options

How big is your caravan?

Ours weighs in at about 1700kgs and is a '640' excluding the drawbar.

The Shogun manages it fine but could use a little more 'oomph'.

Later models you say? Might be a bit above my pricepoint and I'm sure there are none for sale up here but I'll have another look...

And it's only a few Omega die hards that still have an Omega. Mine was replaced with a R Class Merc  ;)

You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave! "  ::) ::)

Now, there's a thing!

Been trying to talk SWMBO into something other than a Shogun and found the R-Class along the way. (She's stuck on a Shogun!)

The downsides are that they're only 6 seats and she doesn't like my S-ClassL.

I'm interested to hear what you think of it. They look like cracking value, (Ugly as sin though!), and if they're anything like the S-Class, you have my attentionl

.....

How's tricks?

Great. Just call me Grandad now!  :y :y

My word!

I have a few years to consider that, (I hope!)

It doesn't come itself you know! LOL

Probably about 6-7 years since I last logged on here. It's comforting that guys like you are still here. :)
