Title: Small bump
Post by: STEMO on 10 May 2019, 11:14:29
Just had someone drive into the front nearside of my astra in Wakefield. He was coming out of the rugby club and, basically, just didn't see me. I could have jumped out holding my neck and shouting that I would probably never sleep well again but, being the nice chap I am, and seeing the paleness of his face, we just parked up and had a look at the damage. Front bumper had moved a bit, a quick slap sorted that out, light cluster with indicator and fog lamp hade 'popped', quick push sorted that out. The only problem was one of the PDC sensors had disappeared inside the bumper, causing a fault message and stopping any of them, front or rear, to work.
Exchanged details and booked my car in for next Tuesday. He says he will pay the bill. No drama.  :)

Not really, it's was wifey's astra that was set on fire. This is the first scrape I've had in a while. I am getting so lazy that I nearly told him not to worry about because I really CBA with the hassle. But, I suppose, one day I'll have to trade it and not having parking sensors would certainly devalue it.
