Thoughts on this?
« on: 28 March 2014, 15:17:42 »

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2591500/BBC-sued-1-MILLION-Jeremy-Clarkson-racism-allegations-presenter-makes-slope-remark-Top-Gear-Burma-special.html

Utter load of pathetic rubbish if you ask me. Yet another example of people with a non-British background causing problems over tedious things.

If it's a racist term, it's one I've never heard, so all the silly little cow has done is teach me a new word. Why doesn't she just fick off back where she came from?

OOOOOO......is that racist? Sorry.

Never heard of that term before, and I suspect 99% of British folk haven't either.  :-\

Did Clarkson even know of its alternative meaning? It seems not many people do.
But remember what we used to say as kids - "sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me"?
Once again, gold-digging on the part of the not really offended......

I can't image he didn't know the of the term, else otherwise why would they have included it in the prog? I can't say that I've ever heard of the term myself though  :-\  :-\

Accident, injury, discrimination, breach of your 'umen rights or any other slight or implied slight, there is always a 'nonces are us' solicitors, look to make a big profit on no win no fee basis and you might even get a bob or two out of it as well. This country has been on this slippery slope for 20 years and it is getting worse.  :( :( :( :(

Then you have got the 'professional victims' who look to get 10 minutes of fame from their mock outrage and a bob or two as well.  :( :( :( :(

Well we are really doomed ... Not a single person in the whole world is allowed to park on a "slope" anymore ... A) It might complain and B) It's possibly now a criminal act  ::)

This article made me laugh loads  :D If the BBC consider paying all that money in compensation to a crazy woman that "thinks" she is a "slope" then god help us all ... Next she will be telling the world that she's a "wheelie bin" and taking legal action against the worlds local authorities  :o Whatever next I ask ???
