help on changing cambelt

So hopefully now I have time to do my cambelt now as really want to get it done is there any help anyone can give?

Watch the DVD a couple of times.


Get a locking kit.


Take your time.


Ensure that you've turned the engine through at least twice so that the marks still line up.






Other things to consider before you start: thoroughly clean the front of the engine so you can check that the crank oil seal isn't leaking, if it is simple tooling is required to undo the crank bolt and remove the pulley; water pump - isn't driven by the timing belt so doesn't need to be replaced; auxiliary belt - £20 to replace whilst it's off - but definitely grease the tensioner.

Thaksn I've got the DVD from the forum shop already just need to get the campbelt and someone on here had a cambelt tool on here forsale just hope it goes all well
