CDR 2005 on/off
« on: 06 January 2007, 23:06:28 »

The manual ability to switch on/off has stopped working.

Not a huge issue as it works fine via the ignition on/off but Idon't like to leave the keys in just to leave the radio on for the kids when I nip in the chippy.

Any thoughts?

It's a setting.  It's mentioned in the manual but I dont have mine to hand to check...

I've just looked in the manual - the link to the ignition can be enabled/disabled but the on/off button should always work.

Mine became very sticky as well, and required a very hard push to turn on / off.

Not in warranty and upgraded anyway to a nice Alpine unit  :)
