Tough decision
« on: 14 December 2018, 08:03:00 »

The world pie eating championships[held in Wigan] are in a bit of turmoil. It's been suggested by some that the meat and potato pies cause too much flatulence among the contestants making it uncomfortable for the spectators and increasing the amount of methane in the atmosphere :D So they have advocated the use of chicken pies as a substitute :o.Many are understandably against this change on the grounds that a chicken pie is easier to eat and therefore "lesser"pie eaters would enter and lower the class of competition  ;D ;D ;D

It won't solve the odour problem. Have you ever used chicken sh*t fertiliser pellets on the garden?

That reminds me of our last visit to Harrogate. Nice restaurant . One item was a 72 oz steak meal which was free if eaten within an hour . ;D)

The peace was disturbed when a you g lad took it on watched by his admiring dolly bird. The dish was paraded around the room for everyone to see before he set too. I wonder if he is still alive.

I've given up eating steak.

I'm  lucky if I get one in ten that is truly tender. :-\

Our local farm shop does excellent steaks. :y  At a price though.  ::)

Supermarket steak has to have the crap beaten out of it with a 16lb sledgey to make it remotely edible.  :(  ::)

The best steaks I've eaten in recent years have been in Texas.  :y

Chlorine washed, irradiated, and full of hormones and penicillin no doubt!  :P

Yum!  ;D
