Mine has got the digital dash but what they done to the Lotus one with the graphics whilst still maintaining the old look was amazing. Including rear camera installed and other graphics was brilliant. Just wondering if the same could be done with mine. It would be a good upgrade whilst still maintaining the original look.

I just watched car SOS and the work they have done on a Lotus Esprit. The one thing that impressed me a lot was the digital dash that was made. It got me.wondering if the same thing could be done for my Senator dash. However I can't see the name of the manufacturer on the credits or on the web. Anyone have any idea who they are. Based in Wales I believe.

Decided against sanding. The window for lacquer for the paint I am using is 24 hours. So hopefully another nice day tomorrow I will laquer the car. Pictures to come soon.

Well maybe I should have got the data sheet but none was offered and I wasn't to know. Anyway back to sanding between base and clear. Done alot of research into this and none the wiser. So many conflicting tips on sanding and not to. Some people swear that it gives s much better finish and helps the laquer to bond. Others say it will ruin the finish and has to be applied soon after basecoat. Mine has now been drying for 2hours. Confused.

Hello

It's not two pack. Lightly sanding the basecoat to remove the small nibs from spraying. Using 2500 grit so it's not much. All my knowledge of spraying has come from You tube Harrison painting guide. So far it's gone  well. So because it's not two pack do I not need to thin it.

Thanks

Hello all

I was just hoping to get some advice. Been repainting the roof of my Senator and all has gone really well. Will be laying down the laquer tomorrow after going over it with wet and dry. What I need to know before I start is do you need to thin out the laquer like you do with basecoat. The current ratio for basecoat is 2 to 1.

Thanks

That's a good move. When I joined I always had trouble accessing the forum so decided not to renew my membership. Time to rejoin and hopefully be able to access the whole site.

Why is it that they skip 18mm deep sockets in the tool set. I have three different sets and they have 17mm-19mm but no 18mm. Trying to change the shocks on my wife's Medical and need an 18mm deep socket. Have to drive all the way out to Machine mart to get one.

Halfords are offering free MOT with any purchase at store or online. Purchases must be made between 10th September - 14th October. MOT valid till 31st October 2019. Obviously they will try and get further work out of it but worth a try.

I just bought a replacement tow car the other week. After looking at Practical caravan website decided to purchase a secondhand Kia Sedona as it is a heavyweight in the caravan pulling stakes. Only cost £3500 and fully loaded. Pulls the caravan really well, but it is a deisel.

Now selling the car for £300.00 complete and running but rough idling. Currently has an MOT. Think it runs out around April time but not to sure but will check.
