BBC Text service
« on: 16 September 2019, 21:11:04 »

is being phased out early next year. Shame, i like to run through the news and sport early mornings. Also found it handy checking travel before starting a journey. Just another cost cutting exercise to pay their over inflated, so called stars. ::)

When I first joined Sky I was supporting their analogue and digital text services, within 1 year analog was gone. (2010 I think) - Around 3 years later, iText their digital one went off to.

Bookies were really upset, they still made shed loads of money!

Surprised BBC kept it running this long.

Actually it's an important accessibility tool for those deaf people who don't sign.

But let's not worry about that for the sake of a couple of quid :-X
