As we have moved house went to get a new address tag for our dogs collar, the engraver then told me what the law was regarding what should be on it, after listening to this utter rubbish I asked when was the last time you saw the old bill checking dog tags ? Then proceeded to have what I wanted engraved on the disc , more proof in my opinion that this country has gone completely nuts.

Imo at least most people shouldn't be allowed to have a dog as a pet.
I am surrounded by dog owners and they make my life a fickin misery. I hear dogs barking from 6.30am to gone midnight. It doesn't occur to these morons that people can have young children who they are trying to get to sleep, people who need a good nights sleep before getting up early to do a days work, people who are ill who would like some rest, or like me are working 15 hour night shifts and need a few hours sleep before going back to work. 
If you cant train your dog not to bark randomly, disturbing the peace of everyone in a quarter mile radius, dont fickin own a dog. 
On more than one occasion I have stepped outside my front door straight into a pile of dog shit. Once I did this on the way into the house and didn't realise, so walked dogshit all through the house.
Spent an hour cleaning up the mess while constantly gagging. 
Shoot the owners and neuter the dogs.

Two choices here for it to be effective: earth the chain mail (difficult, if you want to move about) or have the chain mail made from mu-metal (very expensive) and have it enclose you completely - good luck with that one!

Our weaknesses, our irrelevance in the grand scheme of things which AI will totally control.  We will then be just pets, if we are lucky, with everything we do monitored and dictated by AI, with our termination coming when 'they' get bored of us or prove too costly to keep.

We are heading that way and the Terminator films will seem like an understatement of the lives we will then lead!

I was told the tag should have my name & postcode & phone number , advised not to have the dogs name due to the rise in dog thefts.I had as I have always had before my dogs name full address & phone number as I have always done for the last 35 years or so. I am too old to be advised what to do & as for dog thefts mine is a strictly one man dog good luck to anyone who tries to steal the 45kg muscle bound lump ! He is also microchipped as all dogs should be.

You will, when 2G is turned off (that's a few years off yet, though, as 2G is predicted to out-live 3G for rural coverage). Unless 2G outlives you, of course

Actually they triangulate from three towers... Which will give a reasonable guesstimate and could pinpoint you to a modest area at any given time

He would be a prime target for that kind of thing, to be fair, being a bull breed - and he's not fond of larger dogs, either, sadly (we keep him on a lead at all times). Couldn't care less if anything smaller than him is barking at him, right under his nose, kicking him in the face (as one little dog did ) but if it's his size or bigger he really, really wants to show it whose boss.

The rest of the time he manages to look remarkably cute
