Just bought my first Omega!!

Hi all, my name is Mark and I'm from the South West region. I have joined this forum because I have just purchased my first Omega and it is a 2001 3.2 v6 Elite saloon, I've bought it to pull a caravan but it may well turn up at a few shows, I'm yet to fit a towbar or buy my first caravan but plenty of time for that.

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.

Thanks again for the welcomes, pics will follow when she arrives, I'm having her delivered but I have to wait until after the half term as the garage I bought it from is a charity mechanics shop and they don't work over the term holidays, must admit I'm itching to get hold of the beast but good things come to those who wait.

                   almost all the info & know how  you'll need  to get & keep your Omega in tip top condition is on here . Take the time to read the forum rules & guidelines though  ;)

Feel free to ask as many questions as you like , but try to post them in the correct sections . also the search facility is very handy to get a solution straightaway, as is the FAQ  section

Nice that, quite a rare colour on an Omega if it's the colour I think it is!, seen a couple of MV6's and CD's in that colour but never an Elite.  :y

Is it petrol blue (Z20M)? Agreed it is a rare colour, especially on an Elite. I actually bought a near mint 3.2 Elite saloon on an 02 plate in this colour late last year with only 68k on it. Not seen another Elite in that colour.

Its green not blue but I can see from the pic how you thought that.
