live in stevenage, heavey rain and thunder and lightning, this evening, cleaned the car this afternoon and as it was hot half opened the sun roof and left it that way till just now, as you can imagine completly soaked in the front, what an idiot I am

Just think,one day in the future when you get in your car,and fall straight through,and end up sitting on the floor,you will think back to that day when you left your sunroof open,and think i wont be doing that again.

Also live St. Evenage.

Also left my sun roof open and windows open yesterday, but was in St. Osyth. nr Clacton. 8-)

Daughter told us of the bad weather yesterday. Spoke to a neighbour about an hour ago. One of their relatives was travelling from MIlton Keynes to Stevenage yesterday, violent hail storm which has caused numerous dents to their cars body work.
Good luck with drying the Mig out and hope things work afterwards.

More of a security thing rather than wet. I mostly drive with the drivers window partly open, so automatically hit the switch when parking up.
Hot day, had both front windows open, parked up on the street, closed my window and went to a meeting, an hour later got to my car, yep, had left it parked up with passenger window wide open.......
Later the same day, parked next to a car in Tesco that had done the same thing.........

Happens to us all, but it is only water! You could make the most of it, shampoo carpets & seats, they need drying whether you do them or not.
