perigee v apogee .. its orbit is an elipse NOT a circle ..

at the moment its getting further away but when it next "swings in" it will be lower than the last time and be even more affected by the atmosphere .....

Now (19:45 BST) just south of South Africa, altitude 145 Km (decreasing) .. check back in about 2 hours and see the difference ....

According to the chap at the top, Joseph Remis, it could be down as early as quarter past nine.

Lowest altitude (perigee) that orbit 140.6 Km    which was 2.3 Km lower than the previous orbit ....
