His is a '62 F30, obligatory silver with black leather. Which is nice. Straight six twin turbo, what's not to like :y

Bro bought his 330 on the same basis... SE with Shadow chrome, Sports leather and 19"s... Best of both without the chavtastic M Sport gubbins 8)

Which is a must if doing any miles, the M is not a great place to be for long periods unless on super smooth roads

Half washed the Range Rover then decided my shoulder was too painful to continue ( torn ligament) so stopped & took the dog out for a good walk down by the river.

Neither.  It needed a chat with SDD on its return, due to being a naughty pussy. SDD hammers the hell out of the battery.

Did some work on the sons Punto. Oil, oil filter, air filter, coolant flush and change got one front disc and pads changed before the light went ,as he didnt arrive until 5pm. ::)
Other front disc / pads, rear shoes and brake fluid change is planned for tomorrow, in between F1 and MotoGP.
He is pondering whether or not its worth spending £35 on a cambelt and aux belt.  ::)
Commutes 70 miles return, five days a week.  :-X

In which case, it's not worth NOT doing the cambelt. The way to do high mileage commuting if you have to pay for it, is in a cheap to buy, cheap to run, cheap to fix and easily replaced if it breaks car. A Punto qualifies in every way!

I hope you had him watching/handing you spanners. If he's commuting that far in a punto, I would have thought a sound mechanical knowledge is a must!

My father taught me on the principle of show 1, do 1, teach 1. It's stood me on good stead for doing most see ice items/common repairs on cars.

Can't beat a clean, waxed pussy.

Although I suspect it may well be a dirty pussy as soon as its put to use again.
