The ABS light went out as soon as I started the car and got rolling. What I find odd though, is that the signal gets stronger by rotating the sensor out of its intended alignment in the hole. While turning the sensor in the hole, I would find a sweet spot where I left it at. See pictures below, for original position and the position with stronger signal (~50mV AC vs ~200mV AC). This orientation of the sensor means that I can't attach it with the bolt, but it sits very tightly in the hole and won't move. It was the same on both sides.

Sweet spot
So make sure the sensors are clean and that the gap to reluctor ring is sufficiently small!
Must be the month for it....
Take a photo of the HUD image projected on the screen before its replaced.
The fitters are using some real cheap shit china glass and its real hit and miss on having the wedge shaded core to get the HUD image to focus and be the correct brightness and size.
But folk will still be able to buy s/h none ev cars after 2035 and use them ( always assuming that ulez hasnt extended to even small towns. Malaga has just announced, despite being 80% complete, that the ULEZ due Jan 24 will now be Jan 25. Thank god.
Tigger. I think you have something there about Europe. I think it makes sense to align Britain with Germany and France.anyway car industry wise.
I met Nige for a pint (In Swindon I believe). Feels like yesterday but was probably 15 years ago. Lovely, genuine and decent bloke, I really hope he is OK …….
Nigel and Chris (Mrs Nigel) are still active in the Wiltshire section of the Caravan Club so I assume he’s ok.whatever happened to Nige?
When Nigel sold his Omega and it went in the direction of the Drift fraternity I think he just lost interest in the general chit chat on here.
I was amazed that meteorites also used the A14, shame they didn't fly on the correct side of the carriageway.Must be the month for it....Ouch
I can empathise
I just use ethernet cables and hubs
I'm not a fan of that "wifi" witchcraft
Did the engines leave Ellesmere Port with the plenum painted? Weren't the plenums the natural colour of the cast alloy?I think the early short plenum (2.5/3.0) were painted but none of the later and long plenums were painted
According to the online official checker for this charge my 2003, 3.2 Omega is exempt as it meets the criteria of acceptable omissions.
