Post by: sounds2k on 21 July 2006, 22:22:03
... one of each! (but not for long ... pre-facelift's going)

gold suits the elite alloys well, see you have the optional extra sun roof as well, nice!

I seem to be the only one who prefers the facelift....I think it has nicer lines and a more threatening front

I think I prefer the rear of facelift, but big bumper on front reminds me of Rover 800...  ...but its growing on me :)

I prefer the facelift overall - bigger (but still subtle) rear spoiler, clear instead of smoked rear lights (the side repeaters on both cars were originally orange but I changed them out), body coloured bumper strips and those nice 17" alloys instead of 16" ... plus it helps that the facelift has half the mileage and an extra 500cc - boy does it make a difference ;D

both cars have the leccy sunroof, I thought it was standard fitment on elites?

thanks, been meaning to take some decent pics but never seem to get round to it ... will try to get some sorted this weekend, of the pre-facelift at least as it goes on Tuesday (after I've finished installing a phone car kit into it)

... complete with a slightly dusty engine bay!

I also prefer the facelift model, the seats are MUCH better for my back (key point) ... plus it also looks more aggressive, especially with the 17" wheels ...
