So just been for two front tyres
Long story but swmbo has been in my car for a couple of weeks as hers is kaput, but she has a puncture and upon going to rescue her and swapping wheels I find inside edge is worn so two new fronts please!!
Went down to Demon Tweeks who if you don't know them are a motorsport outfit , did me a good deal on two new tyres.
All done Mr Franks dad he says
Swift look around new tyres etc ,lovely
Jump in fire her up and see em light on, strange never been on before, What has he done??
Pop back inside to see what they say, not really very useful, we just changed the tyres mate and give it a quick check over pads discs exhaust etc.
I decided not to pursue it to much or kick up a stink , but will it go out again, was it idling on the ramps or summat, Have tried pedal trick but doesn't seem to be any codes stored.
Any thought anyone???

Idling for any length of time might throw the light on, but retry the pedal trick and expect 0420/0430 :y

Not Quite , just been and tried again with a little bit less panic
And getting 0100???

MAF. Check the morons haven't unplugged/disturbed it.

Why the heck would they be anywhere near the MAF?
I couldn't actually see what was going on ,its the kind of place where they relieve you of your keys and sit you down to drink coffee /wander round the motorsport shop, all very nice and very professional.
I will go and root about under the bonnet in the morning and report back

Update
I have checked the plugs and wires etc around the MAF and all seems ok.
I have done about 80 miles this weekend and the light is still on :-\
I will keep using it as she runs fine with no apparent issues?
