Dropped the Omega off at Manchester Airport's Meet and Greet service yesterday and as I handed over the key at the desk, the chap looked up at me and said "an Omega eh...been a long time since I've seen one of those!"

Meet and greet? Bugger that.

But yes, I hear that a lot. Especially with the Irmscher stuff on it.

Arrived back at the airport today and went to pick up the car. Ahh...........Mr Griffiths, there's somebody here to see you. At that, a pair of Execs from the car parking company walked over and I thought to myself oh no, what have you done to my car? I was tired and ready to get mad, but no, it was all congratulations as they presented me with a HERO GoPro HD headcam decorated with a big red bow. They took a picture and asked if they could put it up on their webpage. Sure I said. Talk about shocked! It seems I was the lucky winner of a competition I hadn't even realised I'd entered when I booked in the car. Just checked and these things are worth the thick end of £300! Ideal for my summertime FJ1200 motorcycle adventures! Result.

They are great bikes. And rather like Omegas, good ones can be picked up for buttons. Here's mine
