Hello hello :)
Like in subject looking for 3.2 Irmscher Estate with lether interior and automatic gearbox.
I know how difficult is to find one for sale but I gave myself time till september :)

I would say near impossible task these days for an Estate, a few years back maybe, unless someone has one tucked away there pondering selling. :-\
Personally, you might be better off, sourcing a decent 3.2 Elite or MV6 with the view to adding the Body Parts in due course should they come up. ;)

It went for just under a Grand, and yes Ken it was a nice condition 3.2 MV6 2002 Estate with full Irmy Body Kit.
Ive seen Irmy Body Kits on there own go for more money, in fact a decent bare 3.2 MV6 Estate could be more money.

that was your first reply so I understand that there is something wrong with suspension and you want to fix it before selling it.
thats why i said "misunderstanding" :) but there is a hope :) wish me luck Al and if i will get it i might contact you about that car audio what you had and how to make it :)

Oil cooler has gone and he starts it up every month just to mix it up even more, lots of flushing will be needed, plus

Full service
Cam cover joints
Thermostat and bridge
Front wishbones/poly
Gearbox filter and ATF
Irmscher rear bumper as it has not got one
Good point is cam belt and water pump done 10K ago, but how long ago ? If it goes for around £200-250 then you have money in the pot for all the work as car will be worth around £1000-1500 after it's all done.
Now do I bid on it :-\ nooooooooo. :y

He messaged me with his asking price, I countered with a not so lower offer and it was refused without question. Owner was/is not prepared to budge. Be interesting to see if it gets pulled if/when the bids stagnate.

True, and you are buying more than that, you're buying a car where you know the issues are sorted. You've not got to trust someone else's word that its been serviced, or this and that have been done, because you know. £1000-1500 maybe what its worth if you did the work and sold it, but that car, as a keeper, work done, is worth more than that imho.

There are those of us looking at from a money making view, (profit) and it's a bit rich, but as a personal car, to finish for use then £800 tops, so total spend to go back on road be £1200.

New brakes and exhaust fitted, but MoT has been out for almost a year so cam belt has been on for 1-2 years and it did 15,468 between MoT's.
Year before car did about 20 miles so was sat around. Looking back over old MoT history the car has not been looked after, I hope new coolant was put in when water pump was done and not just water, but then again it's going to take some flushing to get all the oil from the system.
I would add a new cam belt kit to the list just so I was happy. Rear bumper on here for £250 but then you would need the twin Irmscher tail pipe too. So over £1000 plus sale price to have a good car.
I think I just talked myself out of this and I was not going to bid anyway.
There is about £600 of Irmscher kit on it. He would do better just putting that on e-bay and the car down the tip I would also have the wheels and tyres off first. But that's just me ::)

Always amazes me why people sell cars on the bay without an MOT, if its not drive-able then its spares or repairs as far as Im concerned and price or asking price should reflect that.
Its advertised as Irmscher, so the seller knows its got some usefull bits on it for some, so if you want the right money, get the thing sorted and sell it with a brand new 12 month ticket. Or as said take the kit off Bay it then sell or give away the remainder or scrap for parts.

I agree with Zirk. As I could not do the work myself.
I entertained the thought that I would like one of each. Matching. Saloon & estate. Still do!
I bid up to half the final price. Common sense and a lack of alcohol prevailed.
There are plenty of other more important things I should spend my money on.
Good luck to the new owner. I still think it is a good car.
