I misread your post. Pop the cluster out and check that the smaller plug is securely fitted :y

As far as I know the smaller plug (RGB) only feeds the Map Data, the Screen should still work if its disconnected just no Maps.

But still worth checking both Plugs.  :y

If its not working only when viewing map, then it could be RGB plug.

But, in this case, I suspect its always white, no matter what mode. In which case replace the LCD panel.

No its not plug n play, far from it, you need to de pair first, find a replacement Screen that has been de paired or a new one that has not been paired yet, marry the screen with HU then pair together again.

'If' you think its a faulty screen panel (the LCD Panel itself) and your up for the job, these can be replaced without any depairing or messing around etc.

Yes, you can change just LCD panel.  You need to retain your 2 PCBs for coding and config

Minor soldering skills needed

They are hard to source individually, and are expensive if you have to by a lot of 20 or more.

If you can find a (working) replacement CID, that may be easier option, and just swap the LCD panels over

How can i test the replacement cid? can i conect it to 12v batery and somehow test it? or i need to conect it to my car and see if it works and then replace cid lcd screens?
Thanks for answers :)

As I dont have access to the Tech tools, if was me, I would probably just plug it in, it should power up and give a good idea if workable or not, it will probably bleep at you, flash up Code and revert back to the Mian Menu every few seconds but your get an idea.  ;) just dont blame me if it goes bang though.  ;D ;D

Plug it in, as you say, is a valid way to test if the LCD is OK.  Granted, it might not show dead pixels etc, but they are rare on these.

You should get a myriad of messages etc, all in full colour.  An all white, all black, all grey or vertical lines, along with obvious screen corruption, will highlight a duff screen.

If you can, give it a gentle tap to see if that provokes a response from it, signifying a poor connection between the ribbon and the panel (this is the fault that causes them to fail)

I have had these white screen for a while but today when i started my car the screen worked for 5 minutes like it was totally fine :) could it be some unsoldered connection? some kind of cabe short? It was like miracle :) It worked for the first time that i own this car :)
